Such a cool museum! As a planetarium, natural history museum, and aquarium, it's got something for everyone.
Located in Golden Gate Park. There is parking in the park, but it may be easier to park around 7th and Irving in Inner Sunset and then walk over (10 min walk).
Has an hourly showing of one space show. You have to get in line beforehand to get tickets. Definitely a must, and it's not an extra charge like other museums.
When you're on the first floor walking around the planetarium, you'll be walking through the shark lagoon and be able to see small sharks and stingrays swimming by.
Home of the albino alligator.
- African Hall
Home of the penguins.
- Earthquake Exhibit
Experience the shake of an Earthquake in a quick 10-minute simulation.
- Rainforest Habitat
