Travel Information about Germany and Munich

By car
Munich's city expressway Mittlerer Ring (2R) is cutting right through Neuhausen-Nymphenburg district. Several exits between Georg-Brauchle-Ring in the north and Arnulfstraße in the south lead you to the area.
By suburban train (S-Bahn)
S-Bahn lines S1, S2, S3, S4, S6, S7, and S8 run along the soutern edge of Neuhausen-Nymphenburg and stop at Donnersbergerbrücke, Hirschgarten, and Laim. Those are suitable for destinations in the south of the area.
In addition, S-Bahn line S27 stops at Donnersbergerbrücke, too.
By subway (U-Bahn)
Subway lines U1 (dark green) and U7 (gold), coming from Munich Central station, serve the residential eastern part of the district. They stop at Maillingerstraße, Rotkreuzplatz, and Gern.
By tram
Tram line 12 runs in west-eastern direction and connects Neuhausen-Nymphenburg with the Olympic area and northern Schwabing.
Tram lines 16 and 17 run from Munich Central Station along Arnulfstraße in the south and Menzinger Straße in the east with several stops on the way. That's the most suitable sollution to reach the eastern part of the district.
Tram lines 20 and 21 run from the inner city along Dachauer Straße in the easternmost parts of the area.
