Travel Information about Espana and Madrid

(GMT)19 JAN 2017 USLEO94:  El Templo de Debod was built on the banks of the Nile more than 2,000 years ago, Templo de Debod now resides on a hill in Madrid’s Parque del Oeste near the Royal Palace.
Donated to Spain by the Egyptian state in 1968, this is one of the few places in the world where you can see an example of ancient Egyptian architecture outside the country itself.
The temple itself is more or less interesting, but the place itself is impressive, with the rocks, the water and the sky of Madrid. From the back of the temple, the visitor can admire a splendid view.
