(GMT)19 NOV 2016 REP7P:  Booklovers in Dublin absolutely cannot miss out on Trinity College.
This historic university is home to the Book of Kells, a 9th century medieval manuscript containing a magnificently decorated edition the four Gospels in Latin.
It is not known exactly where the book was created. However, it is known that the Book of Kells resided at Kells Abbey during most of the Medieval Period. It was moved to Trinity College in 1661 and has been there ever since.
Admission to see the Book of Kells and other manuscripts on display is 11 euros for adults at the door and 14 euros when booked online in advance.
Family, group, and student deals are also available. Hours are 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday thru Saturday and 12:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Sundays.
