(GMT)31 OCT 2016 ST_DT780:  Brighton, UK
Need a break from London’s hectic bustle? The beach town of Brighton is about 50 minutes by train from London Victoria and London Bridge stations. Famous attractions include The Lanes, a vibrant neighborhood of winding alleys and little shops.
To visit the Lanes, exit Brighton Station and walk south down Queen’s Road for a few blocks. Turn left onto North Street. Walk a few more blocks, and turn right onto Meeting House Lane, and you’ll find yourself immersed in The Lanes.
Wander at your pleasure! It’s also possible to take the buses 7 and 27 from Brighton Station (Stop A) to Portland Street (Stop M) to get to North Street, but why not walk? Brighton is pedestrian and bike friendly.
After shopping in The Lanes, continue south to sunbathe at Brighton Beach or enjoy the attractions at Palace Pier.
